Turn out was great this year with a perfect day on Saturday on Easter weekend for the Sucarnochee Folklife Festival. UCS held a 5K, demonstrations for life preservation done by UCS HOSA, and artists including origami, painting, a 2-D art class, wrought iron, ceramics, baskets, live music, poetry readings and storytelling. Also performances by Chinese folk dance, UWA Band, UWA Theater, Hudson Jones, and the Band Haysop. As well as photos with a live “Easter” rabbit, and vendors.
